Dance. Grow. Uplift

About Uplift Dance Education

Our Philosophy

Uplift Dance Education is a dance studio in Aledo, Texas, created to inspire dancers of all ages to Dance, Grow, and Uplift.

We first began as a mobile dance studio, traveling to preschools and daycares to share the joy of movement. Our passion and community support quickly helped us grow into our own studio space while continuing to bring mobile dance programs to schools and organizations across the DFW area.

At Uplift Dance Education, we believe dance is more than just steps—it’s a pathway to confidence, creativity, and connection. Every class is designed to help dancers:

  • Dance with joy and passion through engaging instruction and fun, imaginative activities.

  • Grow in balance, coordination, rhythm, technique, and self-expression.

  • Uplift themselves and others by fostering kindness, encouragement, and community.

Our classes focus on the whole child—building motor skills, socialization, and a lifelong love for music and movement. Through the use of scarves, egg shakers, hula hoops, ribbon wands, rhythm sticks, and more, we bring learning to life with play and imagination.

We welcome dancers as young as 10 months and offer classes all the way through adult programs, with single-style and combo-class options. Whether in the studio or through our mobile classes, our mission is the same: to help every dancer Dance. Grow. Uplift.

Kimberly Gaudette

Born and raised in the Chicago suburbs, Kimberly “Miss Kim” Gaudette has lived and breathed dance since the age of two. With 15+ years of elite training in ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, lyrical, modern, contemporary, and musical theater, Miss Kim has performed on iconic stages — including Chicago’s historic theaters alongside tap legend Reggio McLaughlin in the off-Broadway production NutTapper. She’s earned multiple national titles, judges’ choice awards, and choreography honors for her exceptional technique and creativity.

Miss Kim’s passion for teaching began early — at just 10 years old. She quickly discovered her love for working with preschool and elementary-aged dancers, helping them develop strong skills, confidence, and teamwork. By age 15, her students were already winning competitions and joining top national teams.

Since moving to Texas, Miss Kim has built a reputation in the DFW area for training high-quality, disciplined dancers who truly love the art of dance. Her greatest accomplishment? Turning a lifelong dream into reality with the creation of Uplift Dance Education — a place where dancers are encouraged, challenged, and celebrated.

Miss Kim’s Promise: Every child will feel supported and valued. Here, we don’t just teach steps — we teach life skills, build confidence, and inspire a lifelong love for movement.

Savannah was born and raised in Weatherford, Texas. From a young age, she developed a love of dance, especially through living room dance parties. When she was in sixth grade, she made the Junior Belles team at Tison Middle School and from there became a Blue Belle. She trained in Jazz, Hip-hop, pom, military, and contemporary. Savannah had many performance opportunities during her high school years including dancing at the Alamo Bowl, Walt Disney World, and countless competitions. She was also awarded the honor of Miss. High Kick. While dance was very heavy on Savannah’s heart she quit the Blue Belles her senior year to pursue her love of horses and roping. Since graduating high school she has found a love for teaching dance.

Miss Savannah's promise: I will bring kindness, positivity, and warmth into every class. I celebrate each dancer’s unique qualities and inspires them to shine with confidence, creativity, and joy.
